BLS CPR, ACLS & PALS Certification

Critical Care Paramedic or Mobile Intensive Care
Paramedic Level:
NM License
National Registry Certificate
Current CCP or MICP Certificate
Current ALCS, PALS, and BLS CPR cards(AHA or ARC)

*It is expected that paramedic will complete a PHTLS and NRP course within their first year at RMEMS.

The following documents are required for ALL levels:
Criminal background report
Applicants can retrieve a copy at a local law enforcement office. No convictions for felony, violence, sex offense, narcotics violation, property crime, or fraud, etc. No repeat offenses of any kind.

Driving Record
Applicants must provide a current copy of MVD driving record. Must be free of any moving violations, at-fault accidents, recklessness, DUI, etc.

Immunization Record
Must include the following immunization history:
Medical Allergies
Completion of Heatitis B Series
Date and Result of Hepatatis Titer
Tetanus (within the last ten years)
Tuberculine (within the last year)
MMR Series ( two lifetime injections)
Influenza (optional)

Employment Background Authorization
Applicants must authorize inquiry and disclosures.
Previous employers, co-workers, and employment references.

Drug Screen
Applicants must submit to a preliminary and periodic random drug testing after hire.

Physical Exam
A USDOT Motor Carrier Medical Exam is provided for new hires. A passing physical will be placed on file with RMEMS.
